Hello, Everyone! You are probably wondering what is a "MASTERCLASS" and the answer is simple. It is a workshop that is created specifically to teach you all the basics of photography, along with a couple of exercises and a photo critique all in one day! I will explain to you what the differences between cameras are, what the differences between lenses are and how to choose and buy the best camera and lens for yourself. After that, I will explain how MANUAL mode works on your camera and why you should always try to use that mode and we will do a couple of exercises together so you can understand that perfectly. Next, I will show you some of my photos and explain why I have taken those photos and also tips and techniques for taking similar photos. Last but not least I will give you advice on your own photos on what you should do to improve your photography skills. You need to bring: 1. Camera + lens (you can bring 2 or more if you have them)

  1. One or two photos that you have taken and you want advice on them

  2. An amazing attitude and willingness to learn and take your photography to new levels. This workshop will run for 4 hours with a 20-minute break in between the first part and second part so it is an extensive learning and fun experience. I will provide drinks, and you can bring your own snacks/food if you want to eat during the break. There is a LAWSON about a 2 min walk from the building so you can buy some food there and bring it with you. The cost for this 4-hour extensive learning and practical workshop is 4,000 yen per person. The cost is to cover the room fee, drinks, handouts, and my time. Each person will receive a: 1. Four-page brochure covering how to use the manual mode on your camera, the types of cameras you should buy and what the differences are and how to stay creative with your photography.

  3. You will receive advice on the 1-2 photos that you will bring for a critique session. (bring 1-2 photos in .jpg format on an SD card or USB drive)

  4. Non-alcoholic drinks

  5. One lens cleaning cloth This is the schedule: 6 PM - Meet and introductions, collect payment and give out the brochure, lens cleaning cloth, and everyone can go get a drink and settle in. 6:20 PM - Explain the differences between cameras, lenses and how to choose the best camera or lens for your next purchase or your first purchase. 7:00 PM - Explain how to use manual mode on any camera, why you should use the manual mode and do a couple of exercises individually to get used to using Manual mode. 8:00 PM - 8:20 PM - snack break (you can eat a snack, or head out to the nearby Lawson to buy something to eat) 8:20 PM - Show some of my photos which include, food, travel, fashion and events and explain why and how I took the photos that I took. 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Give advice on 1-2 photos from each workshop member on how they can improve that specific photo and their photography skills. I can't wait to share this knowledge with everyone and help you take the best photos ever in the future! This workshop is limited to only 6 people so please RSVP in advance to hold on to your spot!
