What Lens Should I Use? Free online seminar
mer. 24 juillet à 01:00
By far the question I get asked the most at workshops is "What lens should I use?" The answer always depends on how you want your photos to look. Many photographers think lens selection is a matter of convenience, just because something is farther away doesn't mean you should always use a telephoto. Or if you are in a tight scene, wide angle isn't always the answer. Using the proper lens is the most important technical creative decision you can make. You can use the wrong shutter speed or wrong aperture and still come out with a great photo. Many times shutter speed and aperture really don't matter. But if you use a wide angle lens when you should use a telephoto your image is going to suffer. Choosing the proper focal length is not about how far away you will be from the subject, it is about how you want your image to look and what you want to emphasize. A wide angle and telephoto lens give a photo a distinctly different feel. During this one hour free seminar I'll show you exactly what happens when you shoot with a wide angle and a telephoto. You'll be amazed at the different lens selection makes and how a wide angle emphasizes the foreground while a telephoto brings in the background. The seminar will be at LorenPhotos Gallery, 2493 Lamington Road, in Bedminster, NJ, or you can participate live online via a high quality video conferencing service. Participating either way will allow you to see everything I show and to ask questions. The session will be recorded and available online later. Tuesday, July 23, starting at 7:00 p.m. To join the seminar online go to https://zoom.us/j/9082293447 One tap mobile [masked],,[masked]# US (New York) [masked],,[masked]# US (San Jose) Dial by your location [masked] US (New York) [masked] US (San Jose) Meeting ID:[masked] Find your local number: https://zoom.us/u/amqLoPNwD
