Matinee Play & Lunch - Barefoot in the Park (Neil Simon play)
sam. 5 octobre à 17:30
We have done these matinees (or dinners) and plays at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse probably four times now, and the food and productions have always been terrific! October 5th is my birthday and there's no greater present I can think of but to do this with good friends and, course, my guy Paul. Join us! To ensure I get a table/s reserved exclusively for us, I am going to make the reservation on Saturday, 8/3 in the morning, so please RSVP and pay by then via WePay (details below). TICKET PRICING INCLUDES SHOW, TABLE-SERVED ENTRÉE,DESSERT BUFFET, COFFEE, HOT TEA, TAX AND GRATUITY (though we usually all always chip in for an extra gratuity too)! Cost to pay through me is $70 which includes $3.50 (estimated) for WePay fees. Here's the synopsis: "This Tony Award winning comedy is directed by film and television star Clarence Gilyard (Die Hard, Top Gun, Matlock and Walker, Texas Ranger) and features NSF founder Richard Bugg as Velasco. In "Barefoot In The Park," Neil Simon manages to take the silly squabbles of a young married couple and make them absolutely hilarious! Corie, the young bride, sees their tiny new apartment as cozy and romantic. Paul, the groom, only see five flights of stairs, a gaping hole in the skylight, and heat that doesn't work. Add oddball neighbor, Victor Velasco, and Corie's well-meaning mother into the mix, and it's a recipe for non-marital bliss!" "A bubbling, rib-tickling Comedy!" - The New York Times Here's the menu to choose from (and then there's a huge dessert buffet spread (I'm order the shrimp platter, which was yummy last time around - others have spoken highly of the cod, chicken parm, turkey and eggplant- don't think anyone's previously ordered the others): Yankee Pot Roast
Fried Jumbo Shrimp Platter
Lemon Pepper Cod
Roast Turkey with Stuffing
Vegetable Kabob (Gluten Free) If you'd prefer to pay the HHP on your own directly, please let me know so that I can tell the person I reserve with on 8/3 that you'll be calling to pay directly; however, you MUST then do that (no excuses please!). NO REFUNDS in any event unless show is cancelled or the venue (HHP) reschedules it, which is HIGHLY unlikely. If you want to RSVP "yes" after 8/2 evening, you can try to call HHP directly and pay it $66.50 directly, and say that you want to sit with the "Somerset County Fun Club" (a/k/a Diane Florey), and I'm told that the venue will try to add another table for you (and others) exclusively to sit next to our table, OR it may split our group between two exclusive SCFC tables, but do know that there's always a risk the matinee date will sell out.
