Picnic While Practicing Your English! (1:00 PM)
Chaque semaine les lundi jusqu'au 1 octobre 2019
Practice your English with friends under the summer sun! On Monday at 1:00 PM, we'll sit in the park together, eat lunch, have fun, and make new friends. Join us! Space is limited; sign up today. Unlike an ESL class, here we practicing speaking English with each other. We discuss lively topics, socialize, laugh, and learn in an easy, effortless way. The atmosphere is relaxed. No pressure, just practice! We meet in Central Park for about two hours and enjoy English conversation together. Friends are welcome! Weather permitting, we will meet at 1:00 PM. Enter Central Park at West 67th Street and Central Park West. Look for the group in front of the wooden benches on the left side of the tree-lined narrow entranceway before you reach Tavern on the Green. Look for Tom: He will be wearing a light blue baseball hat. At 1:10 PM, we will move to a relaxing spot inside the park and enjoy the afternoon together. Bring lunch, drinks, a blanket, games, a frisbee, umbrellas, sun block -- whatever you need! Please be punctual. If you will be late, please leave a comment below. NOTE:
To help pay for Meetup costs, we ask for a $5 fee, payable on the day of the event. WEATHER:
Since this an outdoor Meetup, we may need to cancel if the weather is rainy or very cold. If we cancel the event, we will notify everyone as early as possible. MEETING DETAILS 1:00 PM
