Rescheduled Nonfiction Book Club: The Trial of Lizzie Borden by Cara Robertson
sam. 11 mai à 00:30
I'm rescheduling the April nonfiction book club. For those hesitant about nonfiction or the material itself; this is actually a really good book. Not only does it raise questions about whether or not Lizzie committed or was involved in the murders but you get to see what life was like back then in[masked]. How men viewed women, how the legal system viewed women and how the medical community viewed women as well. It's a book that has a myriad of conversation topics. And I look forward to discussing whether or not we think Lizzie really did give her (step) mother forty whacks....
