Tolkien: Maker of Middle-earth
sam. 2 mars à 00:00
We're going to attempt to see the Tolkien exhibit at the Morgan Library and Museum on Free Friday at 7pm. "Due to capacity restrictions, access to the exhibition during Free Friday hours is not guaranteed." So this may end in failure. Let's meet at the Starbucks across the street from the Morgan on 36th and Madison to get snacks first and get a big group together so we can all enter the line at the same time. At 6:15 we are going across the street and standing in line at the Morgan. If it starts looking bad earlier than that, I figure every man for himself, just get in the line. That's not much of a plan but it's what we got. We can meet up in the Morgan. Before every meetup I send out my phone number so you can find me. So just a warning: I am not big on letting too many people cut in a high-demand, long line, and it looks like this will be a long line. I'm willing to do it for maybe 3 or 4 people but that's the max. If you see us in line and I tell you "the end of the line is down there" that is your cue that I've let way too many people in with me and the people behind me are out for blood. If you are in line and you see other meetup members coming later, it's up to you if you want them to cut in with you. Costumes are permitted
