We're going to wrap up the four part mushroom cultivation lab series with a troubleshooting discussion. We will reflect on our learnings and discuss any challenges you've come across so we all can learn from our experiences. As a mushroom cultivator, I tend to think this type of discussions and reflections are the most valuable part of our learning process as we experiment and develop our hands-on skills. If you miss the hands-on part of this lab series, but are curious about mushroom cultivation in general, still come along! /

WHAT TO BRING.... Just bring curiosity and willingness to learn and explore. Previous experience is not required. $10 suggested donation. No one is turned away for lack of funds. /

ABOUT THE MUSHROOM CULTIVATION LAB SERIES.... We meet every other week for 4 sessions starting March 20 to go through the entire cultivation process and get as much hands-on as possible. We will generate mother cultures from live mushrooms, produce large quantities of mushroom mycelium (known commercially as spawn), and finally build grow kits for fruiting mushrooms. By the time when we finish up in May, you will have the knowledge and skills to start cultivation on your own right away. This hands-on mushroom cultivation series is for anyone who wants to gain confidence as a mushroom cultivator and learn low cost high yield techniques to grow gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. Previous experience is not required. It's all about getting your hands dirty (or...clean indeed) and learning! Look forward to growing with you! - JJ
