A Trip to Antarctica with Fran Drew
mar. 26 mars à 00:00
In 1973 Chatham resident Fran Drew and her sister Rosanne Maraziti were among 60 tourists from eleven countries who traveled to Antarctica on the Lindblad Explorer. They crossed the “roaring forties”, the roughest passage in the world where three oceans meet and waves can reach 40 feet high, and saw landscapes previously seen only by seasoned explorers and researchers. Fran will share her experience and a short film that she made in Antarctica.
