Creamy Chocolate Truffles (Saturday)
sam. 26 janvier à 06:00
Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. January is already moving along quickly, and Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I thought it would be fun to make some yummy chocolates for our January lesson. These truffles make the perfect Valentine's gift for that someone special in your life, for a friend or family member, or for yourself, because you deserve it! <3 Please feel free to ask any questions you might have during the lesson. I recommend bringing an apron, a small hand towel, and a notebook if you want to take extensive notes. I will be passing out copies of the recipe, so you can make notes directly on that sheet, if you like. After we chill our chocolate insides, we can decorate them with a variety of toppings for different tastes. While they are chilling, we can take a break to enjoy some tea and snacks, as well as some conversation. For those who are wanting to practice their English, this is a good chance! Discussion topics do not need to be only related to cooking. Feel free to bring up any topic you desire. Finished chocolates will be boxed up and sent home with you to enjoy later. Class fee is 4500 yen, in cash on the day. I do not charge a cancellation fee, but if you make a habit of cancelling last minute or don't show without any notice, you may not be allowed to join in the future. I have referral cards that you can give to your friends. If someone you refer joins a class, your next class will be 20% off. Also, I will provide a stamp card. After your 6th time joining, your next class will be 50% off! Lessons are open to anyone age 14 and up. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. As we will be dealing with a hot oven and possibly knives for some recipes and it could be dangerous, I ask that smaller children please be left with another guardian. I will check my messages frequently leading up to the class, if there are any questions. *If you have any food allergies, please be sure to inform me, so that I can check if the recipe is okay for you.
