Canicross & Trail Walk/Run
dim. 27 janvier à 16:00
We will meet at the Ranger Station. When you enter the park from 72, you'll see a wooden sign on 72 at the entrance with the name of the park on the sign. Turn on this road and drive straight until you reach the Ranger Station on your right. I'll arrive early and am driving a black Suburban with "Caution K9" on the back of it. Please bring plenty of water for you and your dog, and always be prepared to protect yourself and your dog from ticks. (I've pulled ticks off of me when there was 2 feet of snow on the ground!) Please note we do NOT discriminate if you use a prong or ecollar on your dog. All well-behaved dogs (and owners!) are welcome. For your own safety and the safety of others, DO NOT let dogs interact with one another. ALWAYS ASK PERMISSION to approach and interact with another dog if it's not your own. When coming close to and passing other dogs, people and cyclists on the trail, please keep your dog close to you in a heel position on a short leash or put your dog into a sit-stay to let the others safely pass. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions. I look forward to seeing you!!! Erica
[masked] PS If bad weather is expected, I will send out a message and let participants know of the cancellation. Such things as freezing rain, near freezing rain and/or snow on the ground warrant cancellation.
