Meditation is no longer just for those on spiritual paths. It has become increasingly popular by the general public due to the many health and wellness benefits we are all seeking. From its calming effects and increased clarity and focus, to the physical results such as decreased blood pressure, boosted immune system, and improved sleep, more and more people have started practicing. Come learn more and explore different styles of meditation to practice at home on your own (or with us weekly in a group setting). Caution: side effects may include inner peace and a deep connection to the Universe. Donna Nelson is a meditation guide and teacher (and one of our very own Meetup members!) She will lead us on the fundamentals of meditation, walking us through a sampling of 4 separate meditations and give us some tips to move us forward! $10 Suggested Donation
