Serial Sunday #64: Berlin, City of Stones by Jason Lutes
dim. 6 janvier 2019 à 18:00
In January, we’ll start a new series — Berlin by Jason Lutes. This series was originally published as three volumes but has since been reprinted in one hardcover collection. At the moment, it’s certainly less expensive to get the single hardcover edition, but we’ll link to all editions just in case. In this first meet-up, we’ll cover only volume one, City of Stones. If the hardcover doesn’t specify where the volume concludes, we’ll note the page number later. Complete Hardover edition:

Kurt Severing, a journalist, and Marthe Muller, an art student, are the central figures in a broad cast of characters intertwined with the historical events unfolding around them. City of Stones covers eight months in Berlin, from September 1928 to May Day, 1929, meticulously documenting the hopes and struggles of its inhabitants as their future is darkened by a growing shadow.
