Open your HEART - Yoga and Cacao Ceremony - December Workshop

sam. 15 décembre à 15:00

Continuing with our monthly workshop series “Self-care Saturdays”, Transformational Yoga offers in December the very special event of "Open your HEART- Yoga and Cacao Ceremony"

⭐️This is a 2 hour workshop that will include a 60 minute heart opening sequence followed by a beautiful Cacao Ceremony. Just as you can practice heart opening in your thoughts and emotions, you can also experience opening the heart space in your physical body.

⭐️For many, "opening your heart" implies receptivity to love and intimacy in a romantic relationship. However, everyone, including single yoga practitioners, can experience heart opening in other kinds of relationships.

⭐️From a physiological standpoint, yoga helps decrease cardiovascular risk factors such as high cholesterol levels, triglyceride levels, and blood sugar levels. It supports regular heart rhythms, and improves the circulatory and respiratory systems. Yoga helps relieve stress and anxiety, and we know that chronic stress wreaks havoc on the body.

⭐️On the emotional side, yoga supports a healthy, open heart. The heart chakra (one of the major energy centers in the body located at the center of the chest) then becomes closed. The heart chakra is related to our ability to give and receive love. When it is closed or imbalanced, we find it difficult to feel love, compassion, grace, and peace. We may instead feel anger, grief, and bitterness. Additionally, this imbalance can manifest in a variety of physical ailments such as lung problems, breast cancer, a compromised immune system, and blood diseases.

⭐️If you have ever read about healing the body by healing the mind, you know that holding onto negative beliefs and thought patterns causes disease within the physical body. If we can address the emotional blockages, we can heal the body more effectively.

⭐️"The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart." ~Buddha

⭐️Back bending poses (actually referred to as “heart openers”) help you open and balance the heart chakra, and release tension and blocked emotions.

⭐️Cacao feeds the body, the Spirit and The Soul. It (she) was used by the Mayas and the Aztecs as the medicine for the opening of the heart, For more than 3000 years, in a therapeutic and sacred way. This plant called " Food of the Gods " or Théobrama, an alternative and powerful medicine which aims at opening the door of our internal universe in a soft and deep way.

⭐️Why "Sacred" Cocoa? The ceremonies of cocoa are soft invitations to reconnect to our sacred nature It is about a real work of increased self awareness, expansion and healing.

⭐️What happens during a Sacred Cocoa Ceremony? We begin by creating a circle, Putting our powerful intentions in the Spirit of the Cocoa, sharing in the infusion of Cocoa , a traditional preparation with raw cocoa for ceremonies from Guatemala. You will be guided into a deep meditative journey to meet and listen to your inner wisdom; the medicine plant will show you what needs to be seen, while facilitating a process of transmutation and healing.

⭐️What are the potential profits of the Sacred Cocoa? Reconnect with the Love that is the natural breath of the human before any conditioning.

⭐️Deepen your connection to the real Self And in the energy center of the heart, smoothly support all the deep changes to which we aspire.

⭐️Deepen your understanding of what we are while healing of our wounds.

⭐️Bring out old models of thoughts that no longer serve you.

⭐️Go into a space of possibilities and trust.

⭐️Open our Heart to the Light of his/her own. Cocoa offers the door, but does not push you through. The Cocoa can facilitate you to go much further into meditation and healing than in the ordinary state of consciousness; and towards more permanent changes.
