Atoboy- Modern Korean (Michelin Bib Gourmand)
lun. 3 décembre à 00:30
All RSVPs to wait list, will move those attending over on Friday. Place: Atoboy
Cuisine: Korean- Modern/ Small Plates
Location: NoMad I just had an incredible dining experience at Atomix restaurant and I want to try the chef's more affordable restaurant, Atoboy!
The menu is structured as a prixe fixe of 3 dishes for $42. We'll eat family style to try as many dishes as possible. I'd like to get some of the supplemental dishes if people are interested About:
Mitchell Davis, exec VP of the James Beard foundation, says: "For a unique experience in New York where the food is sophisticated, the design casual but urbane, the service lovely and the price right, consider Atoboy by Junghyun Park.
"The food by the former chef de cuisine of two Michelin-starred Jungsik (NYC) is strongly Korean-inflected but with modern elements, top ingredients and beautiful presentation, each underscored by umami and art.
"It's also reasonably priced -- $36 for three different dishes. Favorites are the fried chicken with spicy peanut sauce and garlic, corn with taleggio cheese, bacon and doenjang, and mackerel with green chilli, radish and scallion." Website: http://atoboynyc.com/ RSVPs: Please do not RSVP No. You only need to RSVP if you want to come to the event. Please don't RSVP unless you are sure you can go. I notice the people who RSVP and then cancel, which is not fair to everyone else. I reserve the right to give priority to people who don't do this in the future. I'm not trying to be mean but it makes it much harder for me when people take spots and then cancel either quickly or last minute. Obviously more notice is better, but please try to only sign up (for waitlist as well) if you know you can come. Note that if you habitually cancel you will be removed from the group. Even if the meetup is full, please put your name on the waitlist. I will let you know if a spot becomes available. Also, if there are a lot of people on the waitlist, it lets me know which kind of restaurants are popular so that I may schedule more of those in the future. Please note that meetup events are strictly for members. No +1s are allowed as reservations are made in advance and spots are assigned. First time members must confirm in writing that they will attend. Individuals that are no shows are immediately banned from the group. Additionally, those who do not respond to messages will be removed from the group. Lastly, please be aware that there is the potential for an event to be outright canceled or rescheduled last minute when low enrollment falls to 1-2 due to last minute cancellations or non-enrollment. It is the responsibility of the diner to check their messages, (I message individuals in this instance), and the event page to make sure the event is running. Thanks.
