In the modern time, almost everyone has to go through lots of hard work, stress and fast paced lives. Meditation is the best way to restore our balance, energy and heal our mind and body. We would like to invite you here to learn the most advanced meditation method that will quickly charge your energy level and adjust your problems inside out. Instead of reaching for cookies and coffee, you can meditate to recharge and heal yourself. Once you develop some skills in meditation, you will feel so much refreshed and energized by meditating for 10 or 15 minutes during the day. This class is open for everyone of all ages, levels, religions. ***

What is Chan Meditation

Chan meditation is the most advanced form of Mahayana Buddhist meditation. We follow the tradition of Wei Yang lineage, one of five Chinese Chan schools transmitted by Grand Dharma Master XuanHua. We adapt Chinese Chan training methods to the Western culture and call it "American Chan". Since 2005, students of American Chan from all walks of life and many continents have been improving steadily from beginner to expert levels, thus enabling them to better cope with the increasing complexities and challenges of modern times. Chan meditation will provide the most practical and realistic solutions to your day-to-day life problems. Chan meditation will produce solid and concrete results to those who are willing to do hard work and put consistent efforts. Our focus is to help you develop your concentration power which will provide an immediate and practical application to your life, enhancing your work and daily routines. What we will do;

Sitting posture, meditation techniques

Silent meditation (15~20 mins) What to bring - Photo ID - Yoga Mat or Towel - Wear comfortably. Instructor: Shana Han

Shana Han is the founder and CEO of Hansderma, Inc. She has successfully established her business on her own after moving to the US alone. She is now a meditation instructor national wide. For the past years, Shana has dedicated her time to practice Chan and Mahayana Buddhism. Because she got so much out of this practice, she decided to share this wonderful experience with others. With her teacher’s help, Dharma Master YongHua, she started to teach Chan Meditation.
