Join New York Adventure Club ( https://www.nyadventureclub.com/ ) for an exploration of Paterson, NJ, the "Silicon Valley" of the 19th and early 20th centuries that became a leading global manufacturing hub for industries including locomotives, silk, and airplane engines. Led by the Director of the Paterson Museum, this exclusive trip around Paterson will include: • A walkthrough of the Paterson Museum before opening hours to learn about the city's origins, and how its planned system of water channels launched the city into the global spotlight
• A behind-the-scenes tour through the Art Factory, a former 400,000-square-foot textile factory comprised of 24 buildings that is now a private multi-purpose facility used for film shoots, private events, and artist studios
• A visit to Great Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the country
• A trip to a hidden overlook high above Paterson to get a birds-eye view of the surrounding area including the New York skyline Our experience will conclude with lunch at Libby's Lunch, a diner dating back to 1936 that invented the Hot Texas Wiener.
