Still More on the Strange Theory of Light and Matter
sam. 1 décembre à 20:30
This is the next in our continuing series discussing the book “QED: The Strange Theory of Light and Matter” by Richard Feynman. This book can be obtained in PDF form for free by searching on the title of the book. The tentative agenda: Blair will briefly talk about mathematical equivalence in physics, specifically the equivalence of a rotating vector and a wave. Then we will discuss the partial reflection of light from a pane of glass, which is covered in pages 15 to 32 in the book. If anyone wants to suggest something else, please post a note. Our meeting will return to the Sunnyside branch of the Ottawa Public Library.
