Hamilton Walk & Happy Hour
sam. 16 février 2019 à 19:00
To celebrate President's Weekend let's walk in the footsteps of American legends Alexander Hamilton and George Washington. More than any other neighborhood in New York City, Lower Manhattan offers a stark contrast between the old and the new. We will see buildings built when New York was still a British colony. Some of the places we will visit: Bowling Green, Castle Clinton, Federal Hall National Memorial, Wall Street, Trinity Church, Fraunces Tavern, African Burial Ground, City Hall, & City Hall Park Since they are in the area we will also some of New York's "newer" historic buildings as well. Some of them include the Manhattan Municipal Building, the Woolworth Skyscraper, Newspaper Row, Federal Reserve Bank, Equitable Building, bowling green park, and the charging bull. Please leave extra time for weekend service changes on the subway. You will find me inside Whitehall Terminal (Staten Island Ferry). Take the escalator upstairs - I will be close to the bathrooms.Just in case you have trouble spotting the group my cell is[masked]. Please bear in mind that once we start walking it will be difficult to answer phone calls/texts or post comments. Afterwards we will head to either Manhattan Proper or Mudville for drinks/food Manhattan Proper:
