See the Maya Lin exhibit at the Hudson River Museum with the Mogul Meisters
sam. 3 novembre à 18:00
See the new Maya Lin exhibit at the Hudson River Museum with the Mogul Meisters! A brand new site-specific exhibit by acclaimed artist Maya Lin (who designed the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.) is coming to the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers and Mogul Meisters is arranging for a visit on November 3. We picked this day around special events and promotions. We plan to take a tour of the historic Glenview mansion at 1 PM. At 2 PM, we’ll join Assistant Curator Ted Barrow in a lively and enlightening tour of the special exhibition, in which you'll examine the form and content of Maya Lin's immersive, site-specific installations, inspired by the Hudson River. After Ted’s talk, we will be free to attend the 3 PM talk by Kress Foundation Interpretive Fellow, Christian Stegall, OR to walk around the exhibitions OR to see the optional 3:30 Planetarium show “Moons: Worlds of Mystery” (and we can split up whenever we want). More information on these tours and talks can be found at https://www.hrm.org/programs.html . Information on the Maya Lin exhibit can be found at https://www.hrm.org/pressbox/2018-maya-lin-a-river-is-a-drawing.html .
