Founded by Belfast natives, Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry (International Bartender of the Year), the duo was inspired to create a story that intersected a point in history where Irish culture and cocktails met. The rest as they say, is history- and loads of it. The bar, and its location in the Financial District, is a nod to John Morrissey, leader of the 1850’s Irish gang, the Dead Rabbits. Dead Rabbit is home to the largest whiskey collection in America, and its first recipe collection, The Dead Rabbit Drinks Manual, was awarded the Best Bartending & Cocktail Book at Tales of the Cocktail 2016. In this hands-on cocktail making class, we’ll learn from the experts of the cocktail kingdom, as Brooke Baker, Special Events Director & Head Bartender at Dead Rabbit, guides us through the foundations of a proper cocktail, while sharing the insider story on Dead Rabbit. Guest will be greeted with a welcome punch cocktail, and each will attendee will have the opportunity to make their own cocktail, with helpful guidance from Brooke. What You’ll Learn
