Tsukimi Hamburger Lunch
dim. 21 octobre à 05:30
Tsukimi (月見), moon viewing, is one of my favorite seasonal customs in Japan. While Jyugoya (十五夜) is famous as the best day for Tsukimi, Jyusanya (十三夜) is regarded as the second best day. And Jyusanya this year is on October 21!
To celebrate Jyusanya, I'll prepare Tsukimi Hamber Lunch. I chose a raw egg on hamberger in the picture because I thought it looks more like a moon, but I can change it to sunny-side up or any other form if you want. - Hamberger with egg
Japanese-style potato salad
Fried lotus root
Miso soup My place in Yanesen Area, which is about 5 minutes walk from Nezu Station (Chiyoda Line on Tokyo Metro).
I don't want to post my address, so I will meet attendees at Exit 1 of Nezu Station at 12:30. Note Since there is a limited number of seats available due to capacity limitation and necessary food preparation, please respond to join the event if you're coming for sure. And please cancel your spot as soon as you change your plan/mind so that somebody else can come instead. Thank you! To check out my daily cooking, follow my instagram account, diningwithakiko.
