Movie - 3100: Run & Become, Multiple Dates & Times 10/26 to 10/28

Did you know there's a 3100-mile ultramarathon race in Queens every summer? That there are Japanese monks who walk a marathon every day for 1,000 days? Why do you run and what is the point of it all anyway? Local documentary maker and runner Sanjay Rawal dives into the stories of 4 runners, and why they're compelled to push their limits. I saw it at a preview last spring and it is phenomenally inspiring. The movie is premiering at Village East Cinema, and will be screening Fri 10/26-Thu 11/1 at 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 pm. I will be speaking as part of a panel at the Fri 10/26 1 pm screening and Sun 10/28 1 pm screening. This is the perfect way to soak up that downtime in the taper week before NYC Marathon, or to celebrate finishing a fall race! Tickets are $15 and 25% of your ticket purchase will go to the MVRP Foundation which was created in memory of my stepson Michael Vincent Rosen-Pipitone. The foundation supports young adult artists and mental health groups. Use the promotion code MVRP to help our cause. Spread the word to other runners!
