This class focuses on cultivating Qi or life force energy through self-regulation with postural adjustment, deep breathing, and gentle movement. Featuring an introduction to the principles of Qigong and Tai Chi. Through intentional adjustments to induce relaxation and calm the nervous system, our body and mind can heal and harmonize for optimization. The core of the practice is the regulation of these 3 treasures - body, breath, and mental focus. Tai Chi Easy is a movement meditation which also explores the Qigong practices of self-massage, meditation, breath work, and gentle bi-lateral movement. Focus begins with Qi cultivation - a form called the '9 Phases' - and progresses towards walking meditation and 5 Integral Tai Chi gestures.
