Hey team - so since we're already part way through September, we're going to read a short novella this month before our usual Halloween inspired October meetup. On deck is Tolstoy's The Kreutzer Sonata - a quickly censored work published in 1889 that is "an argument for the ideal of sexual abstinence and an in-depth first-person description of jealous rage" - sounds both intriguing and exciting, and it contrasts fairly heavily with some of the other works we've read in the past. This novella is short (~40ish pages), and you can grab a free copy at gutenberg over here: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/689/689-h/689-h.htm - this is a great meetup to come for the first time since it seems like an easy read. See you in a few weeks
