When you think of #socialjustice and #racialequity, chances are that #climatechange is not the first thing that comes to mind. Despite the advances made since the civil rights era, we still live in a society in which more than 1 million African-Americans live within half a mile of an oil and gas operation and #minority and low-income neighborhoods remain disproportionately affected by hazardous waste sites and other polluting facilities. Join us as we bringing together leaders in racial equity and #environmental justice to explore the concept of environmental racism, it's links to the fight for climate justice and what we can do about it as #Christians fighting for reconciliation.
