This is a 2 week Nordic Walking program. Week 1) Learn the basic technique along with a warm-up, Nordic Walk, and cool-down.
Week 2 ) Improve your technique, tips on intensity, going uphill/downhill tips, along with the a warm-up, Nordic Walk, and cool-down. $20 for 2 classes. Leave a note here to say you are attending and pay at the first class. Poles are provided and may be purchased after the class. Nordic Walking incorporates 90% of all body muscles and burns up to 46% more calories compared to walking. Walking poles improves stability, balance and walking gait and there is less impact on knee and hip joints. We are outside, please dress for the weather; hat, sunscreen and small bottle of water.
