Exploring Love and Intimacy Workshop (with potluck after!)
dim. 19 août à 21:00
Cross-posted from the HAI Ottawa meetup: Join us for a beautiful afternoon workshop to explore ways of opening our hearts to intimacy and increasing connection in our lives. The workshop is experiential and you will be invited to participate in several exercises and group sharing processes, which will allow us to look at:
~ Safety: How can we create safety around us to be ourselves, and create a space where our vulnerability will be honoured?
~ Choice: How often do we relinquish our choice and do "what is expected of us?" What do healthy relationship choices look like for us? How can we expand our choices in day-to-day life?
~ Partnership: How can we tap into the power of honesty and authenticity in creating intimacy, and find ways to listen deeply, truly be heard, respond without fixing and just share quality time.
~ Connection: What is love? What is intimacy? What are we saying when we hug? What is the person saying who is hugging us? How can we make a space of safety for people to express themselves? Please plan to arrive at 3:15. We'll get started at 3:30 and kindly ask that if you won't be able to arrive by 3:30 that you join us another time. You are welcome to stay afterwards for a potluck and share more about your experience. https://www.meetup.com/HAI-Ottawa/events/253629840/ Cost: Suggested donation of $5 per participant to cover the costs of hosting. Any surplus goes into a “scholarship fund” to help others who need financial assistance for the HAI weekend workshops. This event is posted in other locations so once 20 people have confirmed their attendance by email to [masked] we will close the RSVPs. Thanks for your understanding!
