15 Minutes - Hung Ga 6 Pose Martial Arts Meditation
20 Minutes - Core & Kettlebell Strength Workout
25 Minutes - Boxing (6 - 3 minute rounds, switching between pads & gloves) Required Gear
- Kettlebell - We will be doing many repetitions so pick a weight you can handle easily. My recommendation is 15 lbs to start. If you don't have one you will still be able to participate but will then being doing body weight exercises only. 2. Boxing gloves, wraps & pads - Bring your own boxing gloves, wraps, and pads. If you don't have boxing gloves or pads you can do shadow boxing but it will probably be a pretty lame 25 minutes. **Rain gear - We meet rain or shine so bring whatever gear you need to feel comfortable. When it starts getting cold outside rain gear is recommended. If you don't have the above gear I recommend you get it. It will cost roughly $60 on Amazon to get the kettlebell, boxing gloves, wraps, and pads, in 2 days, with free shipping. Well worth it so you can get a kickass workout.
- You can do without wraps but I recommend them because they will protect your hands when you punch and also protect your hands when you hold the pads and take punches.
