Your Spanish Survival Travel Lesson #2 - Eating and Drinking
Chaque semaine les jeudi jusqu'au 29 août 2018
Hola Amigos! Join us for the 2nd lesson in an 8 week series teaching you the basics to effectively communicate with locals on your next trip. Our first meet-up focused on greetings, typical first introductions and ways to connect with a Spanish stranger. Our second meet-up is focused on all the basics related to food and drink. By the end of your lessons you’ll feel comfortable making reservations at a restaurant, ordering a coffee, wine or dinner, communicating about costs, and other similar key phrases you’d need to say when it comes to dinner reservations. Our goal is to use the vocabulary we learn every week to practice getting better and more comfortable speaking the language. We will start off with a short lesson, practice using flash cards one-on-one and then practice a scripted role-play situation almost every traveler is bound to face to get the hang of it. Our meetup will be held at Coworkly, a modern and bright coworking space, located just past downtown. There will be water available.
There is free parking onsite to the left of the building (not behind it).
No need to bring anything. No prior Spanish is required even if you missed the first lesson.
