Reading Out Loud: Capital Pride Event **FREE**
ven. 24 août à 01:30
Let's celebrate Capital Pride Week 2018! Here's the description from the Venus Envy website: Join us for the 13th Annual Reading Out Loud! Reading Out Loud is a literary event held at Venus Envy every year during Pride. Queer and trans folks who make stuff happen in Ottawa are asked to read something that is important to their identity, something that makes them feel understood, or just a favorite passage that they've read over and over and want to share with others. This year, we're happy to welcome Tobi Hill-Meyer as our featured reader and Fae Johnstone as our host! Stay tuned as we announce other readers. Doors at 7:30, events starts at 8pm. This is a free event, with donations gratefully accepted for the Venus Envy Access Fund. We kindly request that attendees respect that this will be a low-scent/scent-free event. Please refrain from wearing perfumes/colognes/heavily scented products, etc. as we do our best to create an accessible space for our community members with scent sensitivities.
