Event Description: Come learn how yoga and meditation can be a great way to handle stress and relieve anxiety. This free yoga class is introductory and is appropriate for all levels. Please arrive promptly. Yoga begins 15 minutes after start time. Weather: This event is indoors and will be held rain or shine. Intensity Level: 2/3 - Light to Moderate Intensity (Click here for ALHM Intensity Level Descriptions ( http://www.meetup.com/Active-Life-for-a-Healthy-Mind/pages/ALHM_Intensity_Levels/ )). What to bring: For this activity, you should be properly dressed for physical activity. Loose clothing that allows for lots of movement and stretching, but shorts are not recommended. We will have equipment available for participants to borrow, however if you have a yoga mat and other equipment, please bring it. Costs: This yoga class is free to the public, so there is no cost associated with this event. Release and Waiver: While participation in ALHM activities are voluntary, ALL participants at ALL activities must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability (www.TheADI.org/Waiver) to participate.
