ENTERING THE NEW LAND (an introductory Pathwork workshop) "It always seems at first frightening to go beyond the present ego-confines. New land is unaccustomed, foreign, unknown....To make the unknown known, outside as well as inside, that is the beauty of the spiritual path." (Quote from Pathwork Lecture 199 -- The Meaning of the Ego and Its Transcendence) In this workshop we explore the strategies the ego employs to remain in old, familiar territory, no matter how unpleasant, and how to move through this fixed state into something fresh. We will learn:
The difference between the healthy ego (which we need) and the unhealthy ego (which we don't need).
How pride, self-will and fear keep us stuck and fixed in something we don't want.
How we might mistakenly believe that "sameness" is safer than change.
Where we flow, where we stagnate, where we want to go, and what blocks us.
Moving beyond our well-practiced beliefs and behaviors requires a courageous journey into new territory, filled with more joy, peace, consciousness, and creativity. Won't you join me?
