Kayaking and Island Camping on the Susquehanna River
ven. 14 septembre à 20:00
This private island in the middle of the Susquehanna River has 10 miles of hiking trails, dozens of spaces for tent camping, a cabin, and two treehouses. We will paddle over to the island and have all our gear ferried to the island. Come for the weekend and enjoy some camping, kayaking, and hiking.
I spoke with Chris from Susquehanna Outdoor Adventure to setup special pricing and 2 kayak trips. The price will be $65 per person for 2 nights camping at a site without a tent (bring your own) and 2 kayak trips with transportation. You may want to add the "all-inclusive" package: ice-chests with ice, tiki torches, grill and charcoal, firewood, picnic table, chairs, and lanterns for $60 extra if you plan on building fires and cooking. Denise and I added the "all-inclusive" package. There are other camping options if you want to book a site with a tent, a treehouse, or cabin for additional cost. Kayak rentals are also available for an additional cost. Treehouse $50 per night(only 2 available)
Campsite with tent $40 per night
Cabin $55 per night(only 1 available) kayaktheriverpa.com
