mer. 5 septembre à 01:00
Entering the Gate of Tung's Acupuncture Tung's system is a pre-TCM system of classical acupuncture that utilizes a wide range of special points arranged differently than the regular points of Chinese acupuncture. Join us for this exciting Meetup where we will introduce Tung's system and its basic theory which is heavily rooted in early classical concepts of channel theory found in the Neijing and Nanjing. To coincide with the publication of the expanded edition of the Practical Atlas of Tung's Acupuncture we will also introduce some new points not previously seen in the English language literature, as well as briefly introduce Palm Diagnosis, one of Tung's original methods of evaluating the Zang-Fu. HENRY MCCANN, DAOM, LAc is the co-author of Practical Atlas of Tung's Acupuncture and the author of Pricking the Vessels: Bloodletting Therapy in Chinese Medicine. He originally studied at the New England School of Acupuncture and then finished his doctoral degree at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
