Ride to the Millersville Ferry and back via PA 125 (The Tail of the Dragon)
jeu. 19 juillet à 14:00
The Millersville ferry boat is believed to be the last "wooden double stern-wheel paddle boat" to be operating in the United States. It crosses the Susquehanna River from Millersville to Liverpool PA. Riding it should be on your Bucket List. Well next Thursday we are heading there via Gold Mine Rd. (twisties). On one of PA's must ride list. Once on the other side of the Susquehanna River we will head to Skeeters for BBQ. After lunch: off to Shamokin and pick up the north end of PA 125 (The Tail of the Dragon). We will ad to 125 Molleystown road, another twisty road only the locals know. Because of the distance we will be using I78 to get to and from. I'm not a big Interstate rider but It's the only way I see doing this ride in 1 day. I'm a pain in the ass, Kick Stands up at 8:05, have full tanks and an empty bladder. About 265 miles and 8-9 hours with lunch and brakes.
