New York Tea Society is collaborating with Anna Ye and Dylan Conroy from Sweetest Dew to bring a special comparative tasting and open discussion of three different Bi Luo Chun - one of China's most famous green tea. This particular tea producer makes a very limited quantity each year and typically only ever gets sold locally. Join us as we dive deep into what makes Bi Luo Chun distinct from many other well known Chinese green teas by looking into the tea's history, microclimate, and production. You will learn about how the climate of a very small area in Dong Ting Mountain in Jiangsu - where the tea is grown, differs from the climate of the surrounding area - ultimately influencing the flavor of the finished tea. At the end of the tasting, you will also have the opportunity to purchase the newly harvested Bi Luo Chun for home enjoyment. We look forward to sharing an evening of conversations with you over this storied brew! ---

Anna Ye: Anna comes with years of hospitality and fine dining experiences, having previously worked at Chikalicious and Restaurant Daniel. Her extended passion for tea has lead her to her latest work at In Pursuit of Tea in education and marketing. While performing tea services independently on her spare time, her mission is to expand and to promote awareness of the Chinese tea culture with others who also share the same passion. Dylan Conroy: The behind-the-scenes operation guy in this project. Dylan is currently living in China in hopes to uncover and source the best teas of the country. He also has a background in fine dining - having spent time in esteemed establishments such as Hao Noodle and Tea, Maison Priemere, and Jean George. Dylan has dedicated his life to bringing the sophistication of Chinese tea to the American light.
