A Comparative Tasting of Chinese Green Tea
jeu. 19 juillet à 01:00
New York Tea Society is collaborating with Anna Ye and Dylan Conroy from Sweetest Dew to bring a special comparative tasting and open discussion of three different Bi Luo Chun - one of China's most famous green tea. This particular tea producer makes a very limited quantity each year and typically only ever gets sold locally. Join us as we dive deep into what makes Bi Luo Chun distinct from many other well known Chinese green teas by looking into the tea's history, microclimate, and production. You will learn about how the climate of a very small area in Dong Ting Mountain in Jiangsu - where the tea is grown, differs from the climate of the surrounding area - ultimately influencing the flavor of the finished tea. At the end of the tasting, you will also have the opportunity to purchase the newly harvested Bi Luo Chun for home enjoyment. We look forward to sharing an evening of conversations with you over this storied brew! ---
