CompassionateMind introductory workshop aims at helping you understand, recognise and utilise the principles of compassion to develop and maintain healthy mental wellbeing. “You've been criticising yourself for years and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens." Compassion towards oneself can have a significant impact on one's wellbeing by influencing our ability to form and maintain healthy relationships with others. CompassionateMind is theory created by Paul Gilbert which underpins on the evolution of the mammalian and specifically the human brain.
