Think with your hands for a change! Meet LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® NYC
mer. 13 juin à 00:00
Just bring your hands to think and build, the LEGO® will be here and ready! This first hands-on (and all hands in!) Visual Thinkers' Way NYC meetup is for Design Thinkers, Agilists, Innovators, Strategists, UXers... it's a joint meetup with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® NYC for those interested in the power behind the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method that melds visual/kinesthetic/storytelling. LEGO SERIOUS PLAY involves building 3D models out of LEGO bricks and parts to make facts, feelings, ideas, systems and connections visible, and then telling the stories that come from the models to create shared understanding. Come and meetup if you're interested in learning about LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, if you have tried it and want to know more, or if you are a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator and would like to be part of the local community. We'll think, talk, build, explore... maybe even uncover something together that we can bring into our life and work. Details, disclaimers, etc: The fee of $20 is to cover materials (a few thousand LEGO bricks, pieces and connectors!) and light refreshments. Plan to eat something beforehand, you'll be too busy building to stop for dinner or munch while we do some serious play! Dean Meyers is a trained and certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials. You can find him as @deanmeistr or @vizworld (his online publication about visual thinking) on Twitter. This meeting and this meetup group do not offer certification in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® was released into Open Source in 2010. Activities at this meetup may be based upon or refer to this method as their source but may not constitute a formal and complete LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® session or workshop.
