Our members say: "[Two hours] felt like five minutes." -- Milosh "Very well done." -- Pedro "A nice group of people." -- Tony Join our conversation club in Brooklyn, at Brooklyn Study Center. Improve your English, or practice a new language in a casual environment. Meet native speakers, and those from other countries. Our Meetups are small (maximum of 10 per Meetup) so sign up early to join us! Time: 7:00pm, every Wednesday.

What we do: Just chat!

We can do this together, or if you prefer, break into smaller groups for part of the session. Things to try to improve language: Want to do any of these? Ask us how.

Role-play (act out situations - Example: job interview conversation)

Games that improve language (spelling, vocabulary, and sentence structure)

Pair share: Ask the host to help you find a partner to work with to practice a particular language or specific area of focus (reading, writing, listening, speaking)

Video reaction: Watch a small video clip and discuss. Coffee and tea provided. Invite a friend!

Fee: $5 When: Wednesdays

Time: 7:00pm to 9:00pm Where:

Other train: You can also take the F or G train to 4th Avenue and 9th Street. Transfer downstairs for the R train. (First time? Please do not confuse train stations! Some are similar.
