Do you like to play? Do you want to connect more deeply to your own inner world? Are you curious about life and community change? Then come join us and InterPlay! This workshop is a chance to play with the birth rights of word, sound, movement, dance and stillness. This deeply playful practice creates space for stories to rise up and out of body, allowing us to connect more deeply to our inner body wisdom and knowing – all held in a collective space of exploration. We will journey alongside one another, drawing wisdom and learning from our experiences and discovering the ways in which our stories are connected to one another and our communities as a whole. Through the integration of body, mind, heart and soul we will better understand what we hope for and are inspired to nurture in our personal lives and for our collective community transformation.

Open to all – no specific experience required, your life experience is plenty. InterPlay is something that anybody and any body can do! It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes.

InterPlay is a worldwide community of artist-activists who believe in the power of creative expression for community transformation developed over the last twenty-five years by Phil Porter and Cynthia Winton-Henry. For more info, visit

Natalie Abdou is a life-long learner, facilitator, theatre practitioner and creative soul who loves to reflect, share and learn alongside others for the purpose of community healing, solidarity and change. Through a blend participatory theatre, creative arts and embodied wisdom practices, she seeks to co-create spaces that engage the mind, body, heart and soul - drawing on our experiences and inner wisdom to envision and manifest social justice and change from the inside-out, from the personal to the collective.

Together we offer a range of initiatives that promote creativity, critical thinking, civic engagement and community cohesion. In addition to this, we provide therapeutic services for individuals and communities impacted by exposure to acute stress and traumatic life events including gender-based violence, war, and displacement. Our training branch offers workshops, seminars and professional training programs in psychodrama, applied theatre, psychotherapy and the performing arts. We also provide consultancy services, internships and research opportunities for students, scholars and practitioners.
