Travelling Chicken - Ontario Trips and Activities
There is nothing sweeter than the fresh taste of maple syrup! Walk through the sugar bush with the local guide and learn how maple syrup is made.
We are going to visit two local Maple Syrup Farms in Lake Simcoe area. The farmers will explain the whole process of making maple syrup and you will be able to taste the same day made maple syrup.
After our arrival we will enjoy a pancake breakfast with pork sausages and fresh maple syrup at the Pancake House. Than we will walk through sugar bush and learn about maple syrup making process.
After the maple syrup tour we will drive to Snow Valley where you will have a chance to try snow tubing. Snow Valley has one of the best snow tubing rides in Ontario and you will have lot of fun. You can slide down the hill alone or with up to 4 friends in the same time!
Why is snow tubing so popular? Because everyone can do it. There's no need for special and expensive equipment, no special skills needed. Just sit on the tube and lets go!
Our last stop will be at the small family run maple syrup farm. You will see the difference between big and small maple syrup production and you will also get to taste maple syrup taffy.
