Mike Jaspers was appointed as interim South Dakota Secretary of Agriculture on March 23, 2016 by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. "His [Jaspers'] background in agriculture production, policy and administration makes him a great fit to lead the department.” Daugaard stated. On Monday, April 9th, 2018, Secretary Jaspers will visit the Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls and will share what agriculture and business need to work together, what the 2018 Legislative Session did for all South Dakotans – with agriculture as the key topic and he will provide insights into various positions he has held in South Dakota.
Lunch is available at 11:30, $15 payable at the door, with the program starting at 12:15. All programs are recorded and Facebook Live Streamed. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
