ECOLE would like to acknowledge that McGill University is situated on the traditional territory of the Kanien’keha:ka, a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst nations. ECOLE recognizes and respects the Kanien’keha:ka as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which this event will be held.
A statement from ECOLE's website regarding accessibility:
[W]e regret that our space is not wheelchair accessible and has no elevator. There are four steps up to the front door and a heavy door into an entryway with a buzzer system. Once visitors are buzzed in, there is another heavy door to access the main floor. Our main common space (called the Living Room) is on the second floor, up one flight of stairs, and the kitchen and dining room are in the basement, down one flight of stairs. There is another common space (called the Meeting Room) on the main (entry) level. Most of the doors in the building are heavy, including the doors into the washrooms.
