Join us for the screening of the most popular Romanian documentary in recent years, and a talk with director Andrei Dascalescu about the impact of his documentary on the community of Petrila.
Colourful paintings and absurd events conquer a territory dedicated to coal mining, hard work and human sacrifices. How will Petrila survive in the post-industrial era? While miners go down the shaft for the last time, one man believes that culture is the only alternative for his mining town falling apart.
Friday, November 17th, 18:00, at Trafó.
