Wat Phra Dhammakaya North Sweden
Give yourself a reward with 1-Day Mindfulness Meditation & Yoga Retreat under the guidance of Phra Ajarn Punnadhammo, the Buddhist monk who has been teaching Mindfulness Meditation for over 20 years in Thailand, USA, Europe and the Middle East. The program will be organized in our temple in Gävle, Sweden. The instruction will be taught in English(All presentations are in English with Swedish translation).
Our Mindfulness Meditation is good for all, beginners or advance. The teaching monk will guide everyone steps by step with Middle Way Meditation technique to get everyone the peaceful state of mind. Then you just have to practice it regularly at home, and gradually you will be better and better in the process of mind training. From time to time we should join the group meditation retreat like this because, in group meditation, the energy from all will support each other’s peaceful state of mind.
The Yoga sessions are to relieve the tension of muscles and will support half-lotus sitting for meditation. The half-lotus position is the standard position for meditation. Sitting on chairs is also available for those who find difficulties when sitting in half-lotus position during meditation. The most important things for the practice are the comfort of the body and mind, together with mindfulness no matter how you sit comfortably.
Walking Meditation and Metta Meditation (Loving-Kindness Spreading) will be also included in the teaching of this program.
The fee for joining the program is SEK 400, which includes the meal at lunch, drinks, coffee/Tea and coffee/tea at a coffee break in the afternoon.
