Families are invited to explore the exhibition, Moses Tladi (1903 -1959) and participate in an exciting artmaking class with skilled art educators, Pam Kaplan and Elona Shaff, and artist Lebogang Mabusela. Families will get the opportunity to learn more about landscape painting whilst appreciating the life and work of the South African artist, Moses Tladi.
Moses Tladi (1903 -1959) is a seminal exhibition in celebration of Moses Tladi. Previously shown at Iziko South African National Gallery (SANG), Johannesburg viewers will now have the opportunity to explore the life and work of one of South Africa's great, but largely unknown landscape painters. The exhibition is accompanied by the book, The Artist in the Garden: The Quest for Moses Tladi, edited by Angela Read Lloyd and published by Print Matters. The exhibition will run until Sunday, 16 July 2017.
