This workshop, with Manasa Kanithi RYT 500 and Val Spies E-RYT 500, prepares 500-hour teachers to lead seminars and classes on meditation to mainstream and experienced students.
Special attention is given to the 8 limbs of Yoga focusing on pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, and samadhi.
An introduction to mindfulness meditation and Zen meditation provides optional methods of practice. The course includes a practicum in leading meditation and dharma talks. Experiencing meditation is woven into the weekend studies.
