Fancy having a go at songwriting?
Join musicians Naomi Bedford and Paul Simmonds to co-write a brand-new folk song.
Naomi and Paul write and perform as a folk duet. In 2015 they were nominated for a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award and recently received critical acclaim for their latest album ‘Songs My Ruiner Gave To Me’.
Paul is also the chief songwriter for folk band The Men They Couldn’t Hang, whilst Naomi has performed on a top ten track with dance band Orbital.
The workshop will be fun and social with lyrics drawn from local Kent newspaper stories of the day. The final work will be performed and recorded.
Join us – no experience needed!
