Treat friends, family and yourself to a delicious Afternoon Tea, whilst being entertained by popular guest speakers.
Join us on Wednesday 25th April at Bishop Grosseteste University for a delightful afternoon of tasty treats, friendly chatter and funny talks.
Our introductory speaker is Jennie Storr, back by popular demand, presenting her new talk ‘Pummelled and Pampered’. A truly lovely day spent in the company of her daughter Sarah and all that goes with a trip to the health spa, planned by a young woman on behalf of her older mother!
Our main speaker will be comedy writer, Judith Holder. She will entertain guests with her talk ‘Grey Pride’. Recently, Judith completed a visiting Research Fellowship at Oxford University’s Institute of Population Ageing, which makes her officially a little bit knowledgeable about the process of growing old, as opposed to growing up. Expect laughter!
