• What we'll do
Join us for the first Coffee House Open Mic of 2018 featuring The Poorhouse Pickers. Signup for the Open Mic will begin at 6.30 with music starting at 7pm. There will be 2 lotteries for slots - one at 6.30pm for the first half of the evening and another at 8.30pm for the second half of the evening to accomodate anyone getting to the Elks later. We are looking forward to a great night!

The Poorhouse Pickers (Bob Cole, Marvin Perkins, and FiL Wisneski) play acoustic Americana, with a special love for those singer-songwriters who have a healthy understanding of--and appreciation for--the folk and country music of their roots. They are song prospectors, digging deep into the rich vein of Americana music from the last 60 years and bringing it to life in three-part harmony.

• What to bring
A suggested donation of $2 for all attendees split between EAMC and the Elks Childrens Charities. And please support our generous hosts at the Elks by purchasing a beverage / coffee / cookies.

• Important to know
In order to restore attendance at our Coffee House events, we have made 3 changes to the format: later start time, serving coffee and cookies (not dinner as starting later), and lottey for slots at two different times to accomodate those who get there early and those who get there later. Please note that if these changes do not result in an increase in attendance in February & March, then April will be the last Coffee House event with featured artists to be held at the Elks as it is costing them to open the doors if our members are not attending and not supporting this generous venue as we would any other venue down town. Hope to see you all at the Coffee House in 2018!
